TO: ALL MEMBERS OF WALTHAM PARISH COUNCIL.
Councillors are hereby summoned to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Council on Tuesday the 3 rd of September 2024 commencing at 7.30 pm at Waltham Village Hall for the transaction of the business described in the following Agenda. Supporting documents can be found in an Agenda Pack on the Parish Councils website. Members of the public may make representations, answer questions, and give evidence in respect of the business on the agenda during item 4 – Public Session.

AGENDA

1. To receive any apologies for absence.

2. To receive Declarations of any Disclosable Pecuniary Interests and Other Significant Interests.

3. To approve the minutes of Motions and Resolutions of the meeting held on the 2nd of July 2024.

4. Public Session: To receive representations questions and evidence from members of the public .

5. Chairman’s Report: To receive an update on current issues:
a) Capital Grants from CCC
b) Highways gates and signs
c) Invitation from Stelling Minnis Parish Council
d) Cllr Vacancy
e) Noticeboard
f) CCC owned flat

6. To receive reports: from County and City Councillors.

7. Planning: To receive any outstanding planning applications and to approve a response as necessary.

8. Finance:
a) To note year to date receipts and payments.
b) Payment Schedule: To approve payment transactions for September 2024.
c) Update on the position regarding the HMRC penalty charges from 2023-24
d) Budget preparation for 2025/26

9. Concurrent Functions Grant arrival:
Grant applications from St Batholomew’s Church, WSRA (Playing field) and Village Hall

10. Parish Plan
To agree the next steps with the Parish Plan.

11. Dates of meetings:
The next Ordinary Meeting of the council will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday the 3
rd of September 2024.
